"Unable to contact!"

Some time ago B Prior completely rewired our house. However we have had many problems with many electoral items blow up. Plugs catching fire. Flickering lights. Overheated plugs. Had so many electric appliances go wrong we thought it was just bad luck. When we have tried to contact B Prior his phone is always out of order. Can anyone advise us what to do? Trading standards? BBC Watchdog? Thanks very much.
